I am tall, dark and devilishly handsome. Witty, charismatic and very intelligent (but secretly rather shy - but then, aren't we all?)...... I was born and raised in pain, misery and poverty. Otherwise known as County Durham in the far, snow driven Northern wastes of England. I now live in London where I work with young offenders. In my spare time I sing and write songs for a raggedy arsed rock'n'roll band. I play guitar very badly but I'm a great singer, songwriter and a brilliant frontman at live gigs. My political beliefs tend towards Marxist Buddhism.

Over the past three years I had a series of heart attacks, a triple bypass, a haemorrhoidectomy and I'm currently suffering from an L5 vertebrae problem for which I had an operation in January. That didn't work fully so I'm currently awaiting a second.I take lots of tablets which is a very sad alternative to a sex life. Still, you gotta larf.

Television: A friend bought me a TV for xmas. I've used it to watch videos and DVD's but after 6 months I have yet to watch a single TV programme. It seems like such a waste of my time when I could be masturbating.

Books: Howard Spring, Mick Farren, J.P.Donleavy, E. Nesbitt, Dave Gorman, Christopher Isherwood, Will Self, John Irving, Steven King, Anne Rice, Gore Vidal, Danny Wallace, David Gemmel and Anthony Burgess.

Newspapers: I read the Times and do the Times and Guardian crosswords.
